本人婦科年檢查包括柏士及超聲波，醫生及護士姑娘非常又善，本來很怕的，但他們的手藝很好沒有弄到我很痛。在檢查中我得知患了朱古力瘤外，我亦問了一些個人健康及生育問題，醫生亦非常祥細解釋病況及晚上也利用私人時間電郵了一些專業意見資料比我參考。 這位范醫生非常有責任心，非常值得推薦。

A very successful operation conducted by Dr.Alfred Fan tak-chung.
In late August, I was told by a QE doctor that ultrasound scan had revealed a cyst in my right ovary, which made me feel extremely worried and depressed. Through the Internets positive comments, I was lucky to have found Dr Fan for the first consultation. Even though Dr Fan knew that I might opt for QE to do the operation, he still treated me professionally. He asked about my medical history and explained everything in a clear and succinct manner. He then examined me skilfully and gently. The whole session lasted for about 1 hour. Both my husband and I had great confidence in him and we strongly believed that Dr Fans knowledge and expertise would definitely help us fight against the ovarian cyst completely. Now, I am recovering well and it proves that I have made a wise choice.
Dr Fan, I am here to express my deepest gratitude to you for adopting laparoscopic surgery to remove the chocolate cyst in my right ovary. You are a truly patient-oriented doctor you care a great deal about the concerns and welfare of your patients. Your tactfulness and dexterity in laparoscopic surgery is by all means of superb quality. My scars are minimal and I feel grateful. Even though typhoon signal no. 8 was hoisted, you visited me 2 to 3 times a day in the hospital with your usual hopeful and sunny smiles. You also pacified me sincerely while I was panicking and tearing outside the operating theatre. Thank you very much indeed!
Dr Fan, I will trust your healing hands forever.

P.S. Ms Lisa Gong, most patients arent doctors themselves, (unless you are a doctor or very familiar with the field of medicine ) and to a large extent , your "so-called layman terms" would be essential to help them understand everything better. It seems your accusation of using Rx "no longer in use" is illogical and unreasonable.

范德忠醫生:衷心感激您的醫治用微創腹腔鏡手術切除右邊卵巢朱古力瘤!8月在QE發現右卵巢有腫瘤時,晴天霹靂和心情極差。其他的醫生都懷疑是畸胎瘤,建議整個右邊卵巢切除。
第一次見范醫生時,他不緩不急的瞭解我的背景和詳情,然後替我做檢查。檢查時,醫生手勢温柔,語氣親切認真,完全没有不舒服和尷尬的感覺,只有放心和安心。手術前後的大大小小問題,范醫生也會用私人時間,透過WhatsApp為我清楚解答。由於我是很悲觀和超級擔心的人,范醫生還會細心的安慰和作出鼓勵,讓我安心的面對一切。我的手術是全身麻醉,但很快已可下床,肚兩邊的傷口很细,約0.5mm!肚臍位甚至不覺有傷口。范醫生的微創技術的確高超!診所的儀器先進,姑娘態度非常好。
原來香港真的有一位醫術精湛,以病人的福祉為首的婦科醫生。范醫生的微創技術超凡兼No.1--被同僚譽為[微創聖手]乃實至名歸！

I had a GYN issue, and this is the first time I consulted with Dr. Fan. He explained the details in layman terms, yet the Rx that he prescribed is obsolete. I had consulted with a very knowledgable pharmacy, and they said the Rx is no longer in use.
